Our services
ASSESSMENT & THERAPY
Our psychologist provides inclusive and neurodiversity affirming services including assessment, therapy and counselling for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. We also provide carer consultations, and parent training and support. We follow a social model of disability and have a special interest in Autism, ADHD, anxiety and PDA.
SUPPORT & ADVOCACY
We support families to navigate challenging systems, such as government agencies, community services, schools, and other settings where help is wanted to ensure your voice is heard. We can advocate to help people access support under the NDIS, and can help schools write inclusive education support plans to support children who struggle with attendance or are disengaged.
TRAINING & WORKSHOPS
We deliver customised training, workshops, community forums, conference presentations, and professional development and consultation programs on demand. Our areas of interest include disability, access, inclusion and wellbeing. We provide neurodiversity training to help schools create inclusive and safe classrooms and playgrounds.
WORKING TOGETHER
We work in collaborative relationships with other organisations, community groups and non-profits, including ParagonInc, The Bullying Revolution, and ImpossibleCo.
About us
BeyondX is dedicated to reimagining and reinventing the delivery of better health and education services. We believe all people should have the opportunity to thrive. BeyondX was founded by Teresa Butler and Cameron Gill. Since Cameron’s passing in April 2019, the work of BeyondX and Cameron’s other projects is continued by the custodians of his legacy. BeyondX is owned by Teresa Butler, who is a Melbourne based psychologist, writer, and advocate. BeyondX works in collaborative partnerships with ParagonInc and ImpossibleCo, along with its social businesses. Teresa is also a director of Impossible Co, and manages The Bullying Revolution, and Be Kind.Plant Trees.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
